Conference & Workshop Scholarships
MLA has an Education Fund to assist individuals with defraying costs for attending MLA workshops, educational events and the association's annual conference.
Scholarship Application
There are two methods for applying for and receiving scholarships to attend MLA workshops and/or educational events:
- Applicant must be an individual member of MLA to quality for an "Individual Member Scholarship." Members are eligible to receive one scholarship per association year.
- Institutional members may apply for a scholarship on behalf of any staff member, whether or not that person is an individual member of MLA. Institutional members are limited to two scholarships per event/workshop.
Applications must be submitted no later an two weeks prior to the event.
